I agree Christianity is not about gone fishing ted shirt . beating people with a stick for things [in your understanding] that they are doing wrong, it is about loving people as they are without judgement and letting them discover and listen to other ways of doing things. They may come to different conclusions to us and that’s ok. People have used all religions to dehumanize others, even other religions and denominations, since people started believing they needed a text to tell them how to behave. Don’t just be a good Christian/Muslim/Jew/Hindu, just be a good person.

I just think it’s silly to believe that two heterosexual people who get married are somehow automatically “smiled upon” by God even when their marriage involves either no religious covenant or perhaps has a decidedly anti-Christian aspect to it gone fishing ted shirt . Therefore by quoting scripture is just another way of expressing your opinion, no bases in fact, except the fact that you believe scripture is truth.Your friends have made their views clear but are clearly still your friend, they pray for you and care for you. A part of that care is to rebuke.. love is not high fiving someone on the path to destruction. I hope you will search yourself and accept their choice and agree to disagree in this area amicably. I have learned insulting someone of doing “ what ever “ just encourages them to continue to do it. If you just tell them the truth theres not argument. At least where it concerns you. The key is we have to answer everything in scripture. Remember when you apologize that means you were wrong. What you define is the view of some Christians and is not applicable to all marriages! I’m a Christian and was married in a church, butmy marriage is no more valid legally than 2 people who choose to marry at city hall with no religious aspects whatsoever, so why can’t two consenting gay adults in love have that same right? With exception to when laws are passed that justify that hatred.
