I have come to realize that Miro Heiskanen Miro the Hero Shirt .the ignorance or hatred of others should not dictate my actions, behavior, ambitions and goals. I accept that I cannot change the negative feelings that others may have about me or my religion, and I do not think I have to perform in order to assuage the presumed anxieties of those around me. Because being me, is all I need to be.Whenever I see a woman in a h I go out of my way to be extra friendly and smiley so she’ll know I’m not some horrible Islamaphobe/xenophobe/anything-else-aphobe of I feel a bit less silly knowing women are doing the same on the other side of the would-be divide. Here’s hoping that one day common sense will prevail and we’ll be able to leave the ambassadors to representing their people.

I try to be extra nice to people of different races and religions because the atmosphere in America is so combative right now Miro Heiskanen Miro the Hero Shirt . I feel compelled to do my part to try to fix things. I just want us all to be nice to each other. For my sake. I’m blown away by the sheer amount of support and love. thank you all it means so much to me to receive support from strangers and those who have a different identity from my own. What I expressed here is a weight that I’ve felt most of my life. As a visibly Muslim woman, it’s hard not to feel like a walking political statement and a representative. The weight of it all can be cumbersome and often I experience hatred from others that is derived from fear.
